Seriously!

All the kids are out of school....all of a sudden I am a full time Daddy!!

LOL

Yes winter is pretty much the gravy of my life....Sled just about every weekend..plus...plus....kids are in school all week so I can rest up and do minimal house duties.

Then summer comes at me like a ton of bricks. Kids looking to me for "activities" that is supposed to occupy them all week. Pool...Zoo...park...ice skating...friends house...blah blah blah. Who do these little rugrats think I am...then to top it all off.....they expect me to foot the bill for every little thing.

Then comes the weekend...load up the 5'er with all the supplies from clothing to food. Wife and kids kinda float in and out never realizing just how much work really goes into having and maintaining the rig. Add three square meals whipped up daily....and don't try slipping boxed mac and cheese in there somewhere.......the 5 year old will call me out on that! Nice try dad...yo know we like your homemade stuff better!

Full time FN job for sure!

Wouldn't change it for the world!!!!!

LIfe is just one awesome adventure...and getting the opportunity to see it thru my kids eyes firsthand is the BEST!

When has the last time you have gotten this excited about a bird landing on your finger.

Or is that incredible pain tolerance? Looks like the bony end of finger sticking out there and the kid has a fist wadded up ready to let fly! Don't trust them birds!

work your fingers to the bone what do you get.....boney fingers...boney fingers/

SHe's actually holding a Popsicle stick with bird seed on it..

Just got back.....AC during the day....heat at night!

Hung by the river....went up to the pass and took the kids sledding in about a solid 8 feet of snow....roadside..cold only imagine what it higher up.

They had the road cut to american lakes...but was blocked with the giant snow blower/chipper. But they had no snowmobile signs up everywhere?

CO state forest shuts us down on the 15th of May on their lands. Where were the signs? East of the pass is NF, west of the pass is state forest. If i was to ride up there this time of year I would head up the Illinois river out of Rand, but not sure that's doable either. Was the blower on the Michigan ditch trail? very flat road and starts right at Diamond peaks parking lot. Long draw road area would be off the hook too, but they blow that open too. Snowies or ear's should still be rockin :)

long draw was cut but the gate was closed right at the road....the road was also cut where we parked this year...but with equipment at the entrance.

It was still right up to the roads edge for a few miles at the pass...crazy

next time Paul....be back at the end of the july...taking my Pops too then but we will be in the same area.

river was crazy high...they were about to lose that island campground at that glenecho gas campground.

Calling for once every 500 year flooding. Probably not a good time to take up Kayaking!
