Summer fun at 10,000ft.

Well then, I should have an easy time sneaking up on you now.LOL

Believe me, you gotta stand up on em!

I watch them on youtube and 99.9% of the time the riders are sitting. All I can think while watching them is "man I could do some awesome stuff on one of those standing and riding!". It would like a trials bike on the snow! How COOL would that be?!!!!:D:beer;

How long have you been riding trials?? What is your riding level?? How old are you??

I'm 36 years old and fairly new to it, been riding/competing for 6-7 years. I ride Intermediate just cuz I can't afford to get hurt, cant make money when I have a broken arm or leg you know! With just a couple of practice days during the month I could easily ride Expert class. But I usually just hop on the bike and play it SAFE!

I would come but I do not have a spark arrestor for my bike... So, that keeps me away..

Hahaha! I have used ^that^ excuse for the past 2-3 years!:p Finally got shut down last month by one of the self appointed spark arrestor cops in the group!:mad: He happen to be selling a home made one for $20!:face-icon-small-con

Ya, the spark arrestor thing klobbers power and being in the biz, I just can not do anything that takes power away!:face-icon-small-coo.. Plus I just do not own one.. We never use to have to run them and believe it or not, nothing ever caught fire.. Go figure....

Just last Fall I finally got my rear yard converted to a trials park and I have only ridden on my new rocks 1 time.. I definitley need to get on them more.. especially given what they cost..:eek:

I rode in Italy for 4 years and that was some of the best days of my life!! I really miss it!!

I would love to get out and compete again.. I use to live for that but the WTA club was really not that active. I suspect most of the riders I rode with are gone...

Get a hold of me next time there is a meet in the Northern area and I wil see if I can sneak in and not butt heads with FO about the spark arrestor

Seriously, I would love to hook up with you guys and ride.. Can you still ride at Elberta? I would be willing to drive down there and meet you guys for some playing around onthe rocks.
Just promise not to laugh at the old man.. I am surely not the rider I use to be...:eek:

Why don't hawk riders ever stand up to ride? Sitting and riding just doesn't make sense to me! Lunch is sittin time!

Me and you will ride franklin this winter and watch Steve ride that hawk like a pro....he pretty good for an old man with a ZZ Top beard:cool:
