Used to sport the KLIM gear until my arse and legs starting getting wet! Wanted to try something else so I now wear the FXR gear and so far I have been completely dry. On average I ride 2-3 days week.
But I suppose any bibs/pants you buy will eventually start soaking in the water, stuff just wears out eventually.
I agree that fxr and klim are great brands and have worn both but I just bought some slednecks pants and a coat and have absolutely fallen in love with them. They are probably the most comfortable and durable set I have had yet and they are also very stylish. Check them out at slednecks.com
I use Taiga Works avalanche bibs. They are a gore-tex shell (no bulky liner). I am on my socond set in 10 years. I only replaced my first set because I bought HMK boots and the cuffs woukd not go over them. They are very reasonable for you US guys as they are made in Canada and priced in Canadian $ (about $.80 US). https://www.taigaworks.ca/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=87
