Stupid trailer tricks. :)

I think I win. But with a sled deck on an 05 F350 with 14" of lift and 40" tires. Forgot to clamp the sled down, pulled out on the highway in 1st, nailed the go pedal in second and sled went off the back. (Today.) The rear of the left ski caught the deck and I dragged the sled for a hundred feet or so until I could get into a pullout. Total damage is one ski bottom that is tweaked from hanging the sled on it, and a rear bumper, which was sanded almost completely through by the road. And the deck is a little tweaked, easy fix. I am one lucky dumbass, could have been way worse. Luckily by buds saw it happen and came to help lift the sled off the deck and get me rolling again.

10-12 years ago three young cops with a three place open trailer, Two sleds facing forward one backward on I-35. The one facing backward broke loose some how and slid half way off the trailer with the metal skis dragging on the pavement for a good 100 miles they figured because the trailer was swerving a lot but just ignored it. The sled never completely came off the trailer. And didn't know what happened until they stopped for fuel. The skis were shot.

My dad always seems to manage to mash up trailers, and most everything else, usually being lazy moving them around with the skid steer.

There was a certain pro sno crosser back in the day who earned the nickname "the torch" after a propane tank in the back of the truck fell out and got stuck under the trailer until it exploded.
