Stupid things at Haydays and good things

Well just got back from haydays about an hour ago and felt like expressing my emotions of some items.
Stupid things:
1. someone was selling used golf balls!!!!!
2. a ac/heater blend door unit for a sunfire.
3. a used supercharger for a 3.8 gm

one seller had prolly a 34-40 motorhome with slide outs and the whole works. All they were selling a was a blanket with a couple of boggie wheels a used set of carbides i mean seriously if thats all your gonna sell go to a flea market and let another seller come that might actually have some good items.

i was happy that i didnt see the guy their selling hubcaps.

the good stuff
i got a pair of 08 iq spindles for $65 i thought that was a good deal.
thats all i got for my sled. i didnt find much else.
next items did not pertain to snow but i got two used trolling motors for 50 dollars one was a foot control the other was a longshaft 48lb thrust both motors are worth around 100-150 each. So if any of you guys seen a guy stuggling to carry 2 trolling motors and a gas tank that was me.

All in all another great haydays experiance but was a little dissapointed with the swap meet items. I was very happy with the amount of venders thier seemed like more then past years. Good luck to all you buyers tommarrow i would love to go for day 2 but my a$$ cheeks are chaffed way to bad to walk tommarrow. See ya all next year.

just got back from the first day too. i didnt think there was near the amount of junk that last year had but there was still some. ended up only getting a track from the swappers otherwise the rest was from vendors...it was plenty hot today...anyone see the guy running around with the crash cymbals? talk about one hot ****in job

we'll see what tomorrow brings

hahaha i saw the guy with the cymbols and the guy with the motorized cart. i also saw the older lady with only a bra on... trust me it wasn't a plus for haydays.
It was my first year and i thought there was a ton of vendors, good stuff and bad stuff. I also thought it was hot out and DIRTY haha i got home and my legs were black.

All in all i'll be back next year.

My Purchases - 144" rails for $50 and 509 goggles.

Did this dude sell his sled yet? LOL. :D

Never made it.. but most of my crew was there swapp'n... Said they were still lots and lots of junk.. and lots of older stuff.. found a few good deals.. but nothing better than years past.. still wish i was sitting there have a cold one with them though.. hahah :D

They need to either ban the junk dealers or take every one selling non-snowmobiling parts and put them in one designated area. That way we don't need to waste countless hours sifting through sh^t. :beer;

The dude with the cymbals was great, 80 degrees helmet, coat, bibs, gloves only at Haydays

Shorten up isles

why can't they shorten up isles so you dont have to walk 1/2 mile each isle. If they would just eliminate the junk guys all together I would be happy! I mean come on 20 year old golf bags ..... seriously...... get a life .. On the other hand I should of just stayed up by the tent with the snowmobile calenders.. and the ladies of course wow!!!:)

they need to make it a SNOWMOBILE SWAP Not bring all your random chit taking up spots for guys like me that wanted to sell a sled but wouldnt ever have gotten in because of the junk sellers

Was it just me or did it seam like there was a TON more people there then in recent years? Wow, it seamed packed. We had a good time, just wish there were more areas to take a break. The Bud tent was always too full to sit down and enjoy a beer. Did you see the booth with the girls selling the posters..wow! Talk about a big bore jug kit!
