Stumped on Air Shocks...

I am using the Holz rear air suspension with fox float shocks, I dont know where to even start from with shock pressures, the manual is so vague. I weigh 220 lbs, and it is a 05 rmk 900 151... does anyone run a similar set up? If so what psi are you running the rear shocks at. Also it has the Air 2.0's up front, and I have no clue where to start with those. Thanks for any advice you guys can offer.

try this as a start..with the skid off the ground air up therear track shock float chamber(the air fitting farthest away from the connection to the shock)to 160 psi, then air up the fitting closest to the body connection to 125 psi..then on the frt track shock air up to 75 psi...these settings may be a little light for a big guy but should get you in the ball park..as for the 2.0 shocks I have no clue(I run float-2's up frt...)

The Holz website has some very general recommendations on the download section under Fox shock settings. I am running my Evol X track shock at about 185lbs in the Evol chamber and 120 ish in the main. The front track shock is 60lbs with the limiter one hole in one hole from the end. I weigh 235 or so in gear (gimmie a break I am 6'4") and ride very agressive. The trick is to be able to get a full stroke out of your shock, so if it comes close to bottoming out on big jumps you are where you want to be, if you check the "oil line" and are not getting full compression you are too stiff, let out some air. Set your clickers in the middle for neutral and go from there. Hope that helps some.
