should i fill my whole steering post full of appoxy? or jb weld or fill it to the top of the bend then put a soild peice of steel in it then welder back up? . what would be the best way to strenthen a stock post???

i welded some tubing at an angle from the hoop to right under the neck using a homemade two piece bushing that i welded together but if i had the neck broke off i would have just slid a piece of pipe that just fits over top the shaft adn weld to it and down to the hoop mine has been solid since i will post a pic if i can
i attached 2 pics you can see in the middle where i welded the two bushing halves together first. i used a piece of pipe a bit bigger then zip cut in half to get it around the post if i had the post off the machine i would have cut the top off and slid a one piece bushing over top then welded the supports down to the hoop i also had to cut some of the plastic console thing
