Strange turbo fuel controller problem??

I have an older Dobeck based Powderlites controller that did something really weird today. Half way thru the day, while I was RIDING THE SLED the fuel controller decided on it's own to reset all the settings to the original baseline. The sled had been running flawlessly all day to that point. I had just got done climbing up through a powder field and I was getting ready to climb up a little hill. I punched it and as soon as the sled started building real boost the A/F went way lean (19.0 to 20.0) and the sled made a real sick sound and I instantly backed out of it. I limped the sled back on to the road and started looking for a problem. I figured the hose running from the controller to the throttle bodies had gotten a hole in it. After checking for leaks and finding none I started the sled to check the controller settings. This is when I discovered all the setting in the controller had went back to whatever the baseline was. Talk about weird, this happened while I was riding the sled. Anyways I reloaded all my setting to the best of my memory and the sled ran another 30 miles and never missed a beat other than me trying to dial it back in. I kept expecting the controller to fail again but it never missed a beat. I defiantly don't trust it anymore. The thing I was wondering is if anyone else has ever heard of one of these Dobeck based units doing this? And if so what causes it? I assume I better start looking for a new controller. Any info is appreciated.

It is on a 06 Apex with a Alpine turbo on it.

I have had countless problems with my PL, dobec box

settings not staying
alot of lights going on
af gauge spiking lean and rich
ect...............

I cant tell you how many boxes I have had to replace on my 07 BD T-Apex
I am currently sidelined for I am waiting for a new box to arrive in the mail

if I had to guess how many boxes I have had to replace it would be close to 10 or more !!!!!!!!! in 2200 miles on my sled and it still isnt fixed yet:confused:

The more I think about it, I bet it a moisture related problem. I let the sled sit in the shop all night Saturday night and thaw out. I ran the sled sunday for 45 miles and it never missed a beat. I bet it is a moisture problem.

I will probably end up going to the RB3 eventually. It seems to be the way to go.
Thanks guys.
