Stranded.

Been there, done that until the snow cave collapsed. Then managed to suck it up enough to get a fire going. Long night. Surprising what you add to your pack next time out.

Been there done that too, its amazing how hot green pine needles burn once you get them going, put some road flares in a gallon baggie or a seal a meal good fire starter.

Riding their whole life kinda people, 240hp sled people.
people that don'y check if your behind them at all times.

(my sled has 150 hp and a 144 track.) :face-icon-small-con

I'd find different riding partners. There is NO excuse for leaving someone behind not knowing if they got back to the truck, no matter what the circumstances!

found me a garmin Rhino 530 for less then 300 bux online, purchasing it soon

I don't have a regular group of riders I go out with, so each new group I tag along with is an unknown....I could see getting left behind, I carry quite a bit of survival stuff.

ALso most times I hook up with a new riding group we go to an area I've never been before.

The last time I was left behind was about 18 years ago when I rode offroad with a couple of guys I didn't know. They were in the lead, I hit a patch of wet clay on a trail at a good clip, wiped out and wrapped myself, back-first, around a tree and had the wind knocked out of me for a long time. Made it back to the rig after a couple of hours. They thought I had turned around and went back to the rig, so they went on instead of stopping to check. Nice.

That doesn't sound to good.
Did you make them buy you a beer afterwards? :beer;:beer;:beer; haha.

Thanks For Sharing.

If you are riding with new people, find out before you even take off if they ride by the [know is left behind rule] if they dont then dont go with them. Before we leave the parking lot we allways do a head count and stop every 5 miles or so and make sure everyone arrives before going on, It is our rule and a good one to adopt as your own.
