strained abdominal muscle (what do ya do???)

So anyone got some decent advise on how to take care of a strained or torn abdominal muscle? I would like to keep sledding but it is a pit pain full lifting the SOB right now, I can hack it, so far, but I do not know if I am doing any long term damage. Or just making it take for ever to heal...

Any idea on how to band aid this thing til say about May when the snow will most likely be gone...

Later,
MC

Avoid stressing the muscles. Riding will only make it worse, you use your abs more than you think.

Polishing your helmet helps cure the boring weekend blues, have the wife help.

Not sure how bad it is but I had a buddy who tore his stomache lining and he was out for a long time...good luck and take it easy and heal up quick. Its not like your missing anything as far as snow goes...pretty sure old man winter has passed away...

if you want to ride use a kidney belt, it will give you some support. Advil will be your best friend.

better to stay off the sled, you will do more damage and it will take longer to heal

Yeah, you guys are probably right about taking it easy. The week after I did it I started rototilling the yard and mving dirt, that probably did not help matter. Sounds liek I better alyoff the honey do list and save up for sledding...

Washington just go some pow!!!

If I gotta ride it is Advil and a kidney belt or 2 for sure... :face-icon-small-win

How about telling the story of how you did this to yourself, eh?? :face-icon-small-win

We can duct tape ya up... you'll be fine!
