Storage on dragon!!!

I dont have a Dragon, but on my 07 RMK 600 155, I bought the Polaris rear bag for the switchback. You can jam a lot of stuff in there. Currently I have a snobunje in there, saw, two pair of gloves, fleece pullover, water, tools, and a snobunje saw.

Storage

SS,
I have an 07/600/155, here's what I do.
1. Underseat bag, with sled stuff. Tool kit, spare pull rope, fuel line, zipties, Dtape....that sorta' stuff. + small backup emergency stuff. It's always with the sled, and the weight is centered.
2. 3 gallon boat fuel can.
3. Pelican Case mounted to aluminum runners and rubber mounted (for shock) for camera gear.
4. I also have Poo's tunnel bag. I use it or the pelican case. It's pretty neat, bolts to the tunnel cleanly and swallows lots of gear. It's designed to carry a shovel and has a padded bottom.
5. If your into snobunjies' they fit great in the Poo bag, but now I carry mine wrapped around the back bumper.
It's hard to see in these pics, but you can get the idea. B

Thanks Eric, for the help with posting pics!

I was able to stuff 4 20oz mountain dews in my seat bag. I also love that the drinks don't freeze like they did in the old trunk storage. The tunnel bag has alot more storage in it. I keep my extra gloves, goggles, and layers in my pack.

Another +1 for Pelican cases... Expensive but very much worth it. I got a good deal on mine (1550) off Craigslist. Lifetime warranty, waterproof, very well built. Throw some foam in there and cut it out to fit your equipment, best case available IMO.

Lots of storage options available. The factory Polaris under seat bag for tools, spare parts, etc holds more than it looks like it can. I use the rear tunnel bag for snowbunje, shovel, tools, food and water. Having the entire tunnel heated is great for keeping the food and water from freezing.

man you think the dragon has no storage? look at the nytro mtx LOL! no room for seat storage because of the exhaust. if you put a fuel can behind the seat you cant run a bag or visa versa. id rather have extra fuel with the small 7.4 gallon tank. everything you carry goes in the back pack period. you can run the windshield bag but, it is only velcro'd on so i wouldnt put anything heavy or valuable in it. ski

I didn't see any mention of the handlebar bag. Out of the way & great for extra goggles, radio/camera & still room for some lunch.

Hehehe.. try a 03 pro x.... no tunnel to mount bags... got the stock "trunk" in the seat.. i got a 2 - 1L bottles in there... and they stuck out the top... could kinda close the lid... I haven't looked into windshield or dash bags yet... heh twas funny on my ride last i stopped at a store to pick some stuff up, I bought what would fit in my windshield bag.. I get out side and realize I had the prox and not the rmk. heh. I've been grocery shopping on the rmk :P I live in a small town, I ride out from my backyard

jeez i hope it won't be like the first ride, that would suck to break a leg AGAIN:eek::eek::beer;

I figure that there ought to to be another 5-10 feet of snow over whatever I hit, so I should be good to go. Plus still have a new sled to boot.

Seems like there is some unused space in the nose pan. Could a person put anything in there?

Before I installed my TCP I used to stash a hank of rope and one quart bottle of injector oil in there. Tight fit, but it didn't bang around. Crappy place to add weight. Now that I have a real bumper with a METAL cutoff plate, I don't have access anymore.

Nice though, I can mix and match the combo of the Pol tunnel bag/pelican case/gas can depending on how much gear I want to haul, or how far I'm going. I really like the track tie down system on the Raw tunnel. :beer; B

Here is the handle bar bags we sell. It is real nice, not too bulky and will hold two drinks as well. I put my camera, spare keys for the truck, insurance, SPOT receiver, and lunch in it. See our website if your interested in one.

I did what morsno did. Plus I added the itty bitty windshield bag for small stuff like sled id and maps and stuff.

It's a myth (the storage, not the Dragon). I put my tools, water and work gloves in the seat bag. Then I carry everything else on my back. Not all that heavy and I'm more than used to it by now.
