If he stays on track, he should get a full 4 year scholarship at BYU and end up on their international tour team.

The kid could easily be on "Dancing with the Stars".
He's that good, and he's not even 15 yet!

Count your blessings brother!
My kid is a national champion at BallRoom Dance.
Getting him on a sled takes a near act of God.

That would change if he was on a Pro-RMK 600......

I would be shocked if I pulled out a shovel more than a hand full of times this season for a stuck Pro. Stock Trail RMK 550.....different story.

Flip the sled on it's side, pack a little snow down under the track, and away you go.

Remember....most kids don't like manual labor.

Ok, this thread is NOW GOING IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION.

LOL
Well, now you know what I have to compete against when I try to get my son to go sledding with me.

Sledding vs. Dancing with an unlimited number of gorgeous young ladies.
The boy has his pick of the crop.
Never enough guys to dance with all the girls.

My youngest still hasn't caught the bug.
Still trying though!

OMG I forgot how much work getting stuck in the flats use to be when I first started. Now I never touch a shovel cause gravity is your friend.

I can imagine. That WOULD make it hard to get him out of the dance studio. LOL

I could only find one pic with out digging through old cds and drives. This is on the Snowy Range, WY a couple years ago, the week before the 4th of July. Sad thing is this ride may never happen again. The Snowy Range will be closed this year on May 31. Even with the large storms they have had this month, it is still scheduled to close then. This pic, I am probably on 10-15 ft of base yet. I don't think this area of the mountain ever looses snow cover. The big concern on the Range is thunderstorms. They come quickly and pass quickly. Lightning had taken out some sleds the week before.

This ride was a blast. Riding about noon, heading in about 9pm. If you know the Snowy Range, we got to the top of the cliffs from the back side. That was amazing. I had gotten back into shape and lost about 50-60 lbs that winter, so that made the riding more enjoyable too.

I don't know what it is, but I love spring rides. Warm weather, going places you usually cant, the looks at the gas station when we are leaving SD. The time Scott is talking about, we were leaving SD, and got questioned by a cop as to what we were up to. Also my work usually fires up hard the middle of March. So by the middle of May it's nice to have a break. Go some where with no cell reception and enjoy the mountains.

So us flatlanders, do make it west in the spring time. Its one of my favorite rides of the year. We are trying to head back to the Range this weekend to close it down.

Scott... I am sporting the camo cargos in this pic.

Scott what part of the four o six are you riding...Seeley?? Does Lincoln still have rideable snow?? I graduated from Carroll three years ago and haven't been able to ride Montana as much as I would like to as of late.

Trying to get a ride in this weekend. Not sure if I should head north to BC or venture over to your neck of the woods.

Cheers,

JW

Those pics are at Copper Bowls. I buried my probe at the Race Bowl. There is a lot of snow.
