I don't have details yet of where they've found it but it's at RCMP for finger prints :eek: Guess they're serious about catching those bastards.
 
:confused: I'm not a pro car/truck thief, so I don't know all the tricks but I sure know that if my truck had been spotted, it is very easy to duplicate keys with the vin that's right there on the dash board :eek:. Money talks. Anyways I haven't seen it cause I'm still back east but my friend Geoff told me they've mess the stearing column so they've probly have started it with some fancy electronics or whatever????

my 08 has a chipped key that you have to get from the dealer, yes they bend you over for it also, $80 bucks for an extra key!!!! and I thought they only stole ferds up there!!! nothing is safe!!
 
Man that sucks for Geoff. I've ridden with him up there, great guy. What a bummer. Cool you got your truck back, but i'd be WAY more pissed about the sled. Insurance can cover my truck and get me another one, but the amount of time and mods i've get in my sled would drive me to seriously mame one of these crackhead pieces of chit that keep stealing. I'm concerned about heading up there now as i stay at Creekside right below Geoff's place. Grrrr. :mad:

Time for a grass routes sting opp and some broken kneecaps - i'm not kidding. You Canucks shouldn't put up with chit anymore. It's sick.
 
Time for the RCMP to start using some bait trucks with sleds up there. Works great for catching car thieves down here in the states. I am thinking maybe you guys should set up the bait, get the footage and then put it in the next slednecks film. Don't forget to include the mass beating in the bonus features.

I have had a vehicle stolen and I wish I would have seen it happen so I could have riddled it with bullets....
 
Not official but Geoff just called me and they might have his sled located in the city :beer; will post details when confirmed ;)

Try and find out when this scubag's court case is. Maybe worth taking a spin to witness the proceedings. Lots of sled guys with big ugly attitudes {mine is 6'2" 250lbs} will tell the crack head too find a job!
 
Let us know what area of the city they found it in. It would be good to know where the chop shops are for sleds so we can keep our eyes open for suspicious activity.

wow what a shocker, you must have had lowjack on the sled!!! LOL cause the RMCP could not even find them even if they locked up in thier own jail!!!!

Ya....keep us posted. Power in numbers you know. Wonder how buddy would feel with about 6-1 Ton Diesels slowly driving by? I think I'll insure my sled this weekend. Glad you got the sled back.

Good you got Geoffs sled back. I think if you can get a pic of the guy and post it here and at the trailheads that would be good.
 
Lookin for a few trees I've got the chain! Does anyone have a spit we can strap the carcass to? Theres some hungry kitty's in 100 mile.
