Stolen sled out of Sky Meadows

Kittitas county is like the magnet of sled thefts in the state. Has 3 sleds stolen out of a freinds place last year over there---it is ridiculus that this happens----but how much of this is our own fault for not taking the keys out or off of the machine-it is easy to do and we believe that know one would stup that low as to steal our sled---but they will do it in the daylight if they have the chance.

Just take the key or fob off of the sled and stop this from happening 90% of the time. And for the FOB's--put vaseline on both the fob and the sled side to stop any iceing or water issues that can result from taking the off in snowy or rain or icey weather.

If you catch em--you know what to do!!

I would bet that this sled is long gone--sorry--but they move them out real fast and get them out of their hands, that is why they do not get caught.

Seen your add on CL tonight and was sounding like you might be getting closer to some piece of mind (on your own) detective??? Hope you find the P.O.S's!!!Stay on it and keep us posted,as the authorites are probably busy with paper work???Good luck with stealing your sled back as I did with 2 different dirt bikes, 1 caught RED handed and it was a nightmare with title in hand,but I'm not in jail and neither is the P.O.S as THEY did not catch them in the ACT only possescion(sp),, and tracked the other sold one myself with title in hand,sorry for there money spent but it was mine........... l<>l !!! On Feb. 4 got a call from the police saying someone called in my sled number, it was along side the road in cle elum. We got there and found that the thief had cut the frame up into little pieces. Of course all the saleable parts were missing, ie engine, electric starter, track, bars, simmon skiis etc... one side panel and hood couling was there, decals had been strpped off.
