Stolen Enclosed Haulmark Trailer

Hi Guys,
I'm starting the season off with a bang!

Some low life stole my enclosed trailer from a friends house in Blue River on 10/18.

Luckily I had my sleds in the garage and all the trailer had in it was used kitchen cabinets, counters and appliances for my friend's remodel.

Link to what I have posted in the swap trailer section.

Man, some real low lifes out there.

Couldn't beleive it when I saw the Scum alert in Summit Up! I drove past it every day. I guess luckily you have your customization on there and it (I would think) should be easy to spot, although it hasn't yet. Good luck recovering it!!

PS...also a Blue River guy

That sucks,at least your sleds were not in it.Seems odd to get ripped off in Blue River, guess there's Scumbags everywhere looking for an opportunity. My sleds are in my friends back yard in Fairplay,I'll have to call him to make sure they're still there.
Good luck on recovering your trailer,I'll keep my eyes open as I'm in Dillon.

I'll keep an eye out for it. I'm always driving around the whole county everyday all day. I too am in the Blue River area and always wondered who's trailer that was. Rich Holcraft? We'll hope for the best.

That's a sweet search engine, thanks. I'll keep checking CL to see what I can find.

I don't think who ever took it would have the balls to put their stuff in it and actually drive it around for their personal use. I figured someone was hoping for a quick score on some sleds and to sell the trailer.

I can't believe it would be someone from the county, let alone someone who sleds.
My best guess is it was someone passing thru, heading south. (tire tracks)

Be sure to check New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Wyoming ads. I know the locals in Utah don't really use craigslist as much as they use this site: http://sell.ksl.com

I drive every road in each town in Summit County for work, and I will keep my eyes open. I will pass this picture on to another guy that does Kremling. Man, I wish I could check on my trailer tonight. You moved it on the main drag didn't you?

That one is longer than his.

That trailer was right up the road from my office, I'm on Horizon (just after wagon leaving town) all day, every day.

I was just asking powdersnobb the other day if he knew who you were.

I'll never understand how people get away with stealing something that big. I'll keep an eye out, but I doubt it's anywhere close by. Got to wonder if it's someone who knew what was in it? Were the cabinets & building materials new, maybe higher end stuff? Was there anyone working on the job that's a bit dodgy?

I've had a few things stolen while building the garage at CMC breck (and so has at least one other sub), not somewhere I would have expected that usually. Lots of scum walking around, frustrating that they get away with crap like that.

Might have found it!!

Just got a call, someone saw the trailer in Park County!
Going to go check it out and retrieve it. I was told it was slightly off road like they couldn't make a corner. (Yea, tough to tow a heavy trailer with just safety chains)
I was told it was near the end of a dead end road with only 2 houses on it, one of which is a second home. HMM, suspicious.

I'll restrain my self and not bring a gun.

I'd take a gun in case the dude is methed out and comes at you with a crow bar or a shotgun. Might also want to take the cops with you too, after a recon pass to verify its yours. Let them shoot him :D

I would bring a gun too...it would just be strapped to a cop.

Last thing I need is to miss my mark and not actually kill the guy. Then you just know he would sue me and I would be paying for his culostomy bags for the rest of his miserable crippled life.
