Stock vs. Challenger extreme 2.5

That camo digs deep in the light deep powder, but is tons more fun in the slush/hard pack/corness busting/firm snow.
I have 2 stock 800,155 '11 pros, only difference is the camo extreme 2.5 with extovert drivers, and an antistab kit on one.
There is more ski lift with the Camo, and I recently changed to the Team Tied secondary, and am planning to gear it down for more. There is more vibration with the extros and camo track.
I have put more miles on the sled with the camo this year, but leave it home on the deep days (only about 5 or 6 this year).

Definite improvement

Like above. Camo extreme rules on 90 percent of snow conditions. Light fluff the stocker trenches less but with momentum the camo climbs just as good. The camo trenches way less than the peak 2.5. But oddly the camo will take the peak in a hardpack drag race (who cares tho).

The stock 5.1 can't be beat in that. Anythihng else, the camo x rules.

I agree almost 100%, wife has camo extreme 2.5 155 on her 08 700 dragon, I had stocker 155 on my 800, this did not require ANY driver or skid changes to install the Camo X, and IMHO it is better than the stocker in almost ALL conditions here in MT, especially coming downhill when the snow is anything but fluff. The downhill behavior of the stock track makes me wonder why no-one has sued Polaris for the 5.1 design yet... the lugs roll over and you slide downhill so much faster than any other deep lug track I have ever ridden, surprised someone has not gotten injured and sued them. Changed to Camo X and a world of difference there.

I did the F-Bomb track mod to my sled. I like it overall, not as good as the camo extreme but almost, and soooo much better coming downhill. Drawback is resale value on the trimmed track... and the screw heads which I countersunk quite a bit are starting to peek out of the lugs. Trail / corner handling on hardpack suffers a little with the f-bomb mod too.

I am sooo looking for a camo extreme 155 2.86 pitch for my sled...
