Stock suspension set up

Should get my 13 soon and this is my first Polaris. I've tried to search for info on suspension set up and haven't really found anything usefull. Lots of info on aftermarket and revalves. I'm hoping to run stock and have it perform well. Ideal set up is for the best performance off trail and getting up on the snow. I rode m's before the switch so I wouldn't even know what trail performance is...

Thanks

I guess I should be more specific. I'd like to use stock shocks. If I need to re-spring that's fine. I'm looking for baseline settings such as preload, compression rebound and sag settings for front shocks and rear skid shocks. The best performance so the rear skid gets up on the snow and can still handle some big bumps and smaller drops.

I weigh 185 before gear and backpack and I ride in technical trees most of the time and jump a little bit. Any info would be great.

Thanks

I would suggest having the stock WE shocks revalved by Carl's. They work much better. It is definitely a worthwhile investment IMHO. Also, if you weigh more than 210 lbs., you might want to consider an aftermarket spring for the rear shock. It really works well in combination with the revalved shocks.

If you want to try it stock first..follow the owners manual setup guide...they are pretty soft stock(A big reason they get on top of the snow so good), so any stiffening will most likely hurt its deep snow ability...if you arnt happy with stock setup(to your rider specs)then consider a revalve, a triple spring retro fit kit or even new shocks(raptors or exits would be my choice)....

Thought I read on here somewhere the 13 has dif valving or dif springs so....just ride it first?...that's my plan at least and I'm 205lbs in my bday suit

Cool. Thanks guys. I guess there isn't much for adjustment on the stock shocks. Just spring preload. I'll try it stock and go from there. I can see that a revalve would be needed with heavier springs and no rebound adjustment.
