Almond primary.. Weight to suit altitude (10-70 for 5-8000 feet, 10-68 for 8000+, 10-72 for 2-5000)
Just as important as the helix weight and springs ...maybe more important.... make sure that the side clearance on the belt is set (you crank life may depend on it) and the belt deflection.
You can set the belt deflection yourself (read your owners manual also avail online on The
www.polaris industries website for owners manual downloads)
You have to have a shop with the right tools set the side clearance with shims.
Also note... the primary on a 900 was set up to run the 080 belt... the ONLY belt you should be running on a 900 is the 3211115 belt.... IMO (strongly).
The 115 belt is different width than the 080 and thus ALL 900 RMK clutches need to be re-shimmed for proper belt clearance.
All the good clutching in the world will go right out the window if you dont have these basics tended to.
