Putting a bd turbo on a 08 dragon. It has the 2010 update on it. Was just wondering what flash has everybody been running.

Thanks
John

i've had better luck with the superceded january of 2009 flash than any other on my sled, i have flashed all of our turbo builds back to this flash unless they are 2010 d8's, they seem to like the new mapping better than the 08-09 sleds

I have the Jan 2010 flash in mine and it works perfectly. I also have the Carls single ring "turbo pistons" in it that they did when the update was done. I run 9-11 psi boost on 3 gal 110 and the rest non-ethanol 91 octane in the tank. I was told not to go back to the 2009 flash as you lose the more sensitive det sensor feature....which can save your engine.

I have never had it detonate even once, or even the light flash in the display. It has run flawlessly for me....pull the rope and go :)

I use the Aerocharger 66 turbo with the Attitude box...dont know if that means anything, but i sure have not had a single det issue with this setup, like so many have had with theirs.

Hope this helps...

JK, have you tried the low altitude flash polaris released in april?, so far it has been far better on the normally aspirated sleds...
