Still the "King"

I love the fact that I can take my sled that is 5 years old with only a few mods and hang with or flat out beat any new production sled. At least with the ones I have rode with witch include all 4 manufacturers. There is one that I can't beat but he can by no means get away from me. Did I mention that I paid less than half the price of a new one and it has been paid off for three years. I love this cat.

I am glad to hear you are happy with the sled, but somewhere on here I heard an awesome quote that goes something like.......When you think you are the man, remember that you are only a riding group change away from being the lowest guy on the hill.

are you talking about a king cat ?

if so yea they run good and work well ive got one but, at the end of the day on my m1000 i dont feel so OLD. thats the big diff i have 3 other machines besides my m1000 that i take friends and family out on and every once in a while ill hop on one just to make sure they are working properly and i think wow no wonder why i was beat at the end of the day

I don't get tired riding my King.........

I just put my mark on the mountain and sit and eat my lunch while all those M-1000's try to get there. At the end of the day I'm rested and I don't need as much gas.

ttt

set your mark on "THE MOUNTAIN" we have mountain's in washington with heavy snow trust me you will get tired, either you do make high mark and sit or you really do have one mountain

I think there's a lot of Kings with more hp that a M-1000 can get.

Short of a turbo. I have the same displacement and the engine spins at a thousand RPM more.
And Mods, are easy on a King.

i'll add my 2 cents worth, and it might even be worth that much to some,, i have a 05 king, love it everytime i get on it,, and am totally happy with it,, have rode the new m8's and 1000's they are great too, in my opion and that is what it is "mine" my sled is no longer worth very much on trade. and a new one is 14 grand ish here, i don't feel a new sled is $10,000.00 better than mine, and that's about it, mine beats me by the end of the day and the new ones are definatley easier on the body, but $10,000.00 is alot of money,

agreed

thats why i have all 3 of my last machines they still are great and if you got shop space why give them away, my king is still a blast in the pow i just enjoy my new one for an all around machine

I just rode my 05 for the first time tonight. Coming from an 01 summit 700 you can about imagine the smile on my face every time I laid into the go lever. I cant wait to get it out to some mountains :)
