Still challenging and exciting for a snowmobile adrenaline junkie?

Unfortunately keeping the turbo pro and building a bike is more then I can justify cost wise so that just wouldn't be an option.

Lots of money just sitting there to have both. I am going to have both for part of next year but I already have the bike. So not a big change $$$. I will keep what I like best. Time will tell! My guess is a snow bike. But who knows!!!

Still have both , but the boosted Apex only goes out for sled skiing -- the bike is the go to machine. Boosted power is hard to beat for a kick in the pants adrenaline Rush. But I just love riding my bike more at all times and conditions. If there is 3 feet of pow and we ride in the open alpine that the boosted sled powder rocks 200 + extra horses are hard to resist there.

I run a 2012 Wr 450 with a full exhaust system and the mapping tuned for max power works very well as a snow bike -- in the summer I turn it down for smooth power delivery doing mostly tight single track . Most of the guys ride 200 and 300 cc KTMs but the dialled down Wr 450 with the Grandpa clutch (recluse) is a formidable tight trail weapon for a 220 pound guy anyway.:face-icon-small-hap

I have the Yoshimura exhaust and use the GYTR full exhaust map that comes with the competition ECU on the snow bike and use the lowest setting provided with the ECU in the dirt.
Last 2 seasons I had the bottom end turned right down and the top end set unto max for the best of both worlds, be cautious though it comes on very hard on the midrange if you do that ( that got me in trouble more than once in the tight steep climbs when she hooks up unexpected) for this season I will turn it down all the way top and bottom and see how that works. We do not ride enough open stuff o worry about top end around here.
