still a bit confused

I am still trying to figure out this pure logic box on my cutler turbo m8. I am running 8-9 psi on av gas. on the ovs site it tells me Green/blue -4 is the boost fuel adjustment. so this means when im full throttle i should see 4 green lights and the blue at the end correct? right now i am showing 6 green then the blue, does this mean i am running rich? is this basically all i need to adjust for elevation change etc? any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks fellas

PL

I am kinda learning this box also but i believe The green/blue 4 means you should be sitting at a idle and have it in the setup mode it should have 4 lit up. I think when you are driving it the lights mean the load or somthing in that range.

There is no adjustment for elevation changes. The PL box and ECM calibrate themselves to the current elevation when you start the sled. If you are making large elevation changes you will need to shut off and restart the sled so the PL box and ECM can compensate.

Once you make your adjustments in the setup mode at idle, you are good to go. The lights you see while running tell you which mode you are in, and what rpm range you are running at.

I want to say the number of lights lit up when driving shows injector duty cycle.. but dont quote me on that. and they are just certain colors depending on which mode you are in.. if you watch as you roll into it, it will stay in green, roll into orange, red... etc. the colors displayed when running is just the mode and methinks duty cycle(by the number of lights lit up) and as far as what numbers are in it, to get green/blue of 4, go into mode and set it at that, and thats the only time your gonna see it.. then your just into the display of what fuel mode your in at the given moment when driving around.

I think when on the throttle it shows green/blue meaning its fuel for boost and the green is rpm, not sure though. either that or duty cycle.

The dobec controllers (AKA pure logic or attitude) are infinately programmable. You need to contact whoever programmed your box for the answers you are looking for. Take for instance my controller is an OVS pump gas set up. I can control when the yellow kicks in and when the red kicks in with my last two modes. Yellow Blue and Red Blue. Also my setup is a stacked program, meaning yellow mode adds to green and red mode adds to yellow and green. But all of this is completely up to whoever programmed your box. Good luck.

how each box acts is up to those programing it, but in this situation its irrelivant, hes curious about what the box is displaying. So the point being, when your riding it, and its not in the adjustment mode, then your are just seing duty cycle/rpm/whatever in the lights, and the color of the lights lets you know which mode your in, so if you have a problem there, you can adjust it in that given mode.
