You can fly into Hyder AK from Ketchikan AK and walk or peddle a bike or fly to terrace BC and drive 3 hours. Either way you would need a passport to enter canada.

scheduled flights into Hyder AK (1 mile away) Mondays and thursdays.
From seattle, fly to ketchikan, Ak, hop plane, then on to Hyder Ak
Or fly into Terrace Bc from vancouver BC( 3 hours away).

The town where my Dad lives has 88 full time residents 4 bars, Post Office, small gift shop, and a gas station.

yea but i bet that town is situated on a main highway though were people stop stewart is kinda off the beaten path...
