Stewart BC

It takes forever to get there. Like at least three days. Lol
Never been there.
 
I have a lot of mutual friends with Dave and I've ridden ith him quite a bit when he was in Stewart. No, there is no more Stewart Mountain Lodge. Yes, he did sell the lodge to a heliskiing outfit a couple years ago, sold his house and moved back to Pemberton.
Stewart is usually loading up with snow big time this time of year. It can be hit and miss though because the temps are usually not as cold as we get inland. When it does snow there this time of year they get ROCKED!
I'd say if you're serious about making the trip and want some reliable snow reports, give Chad a call at the petrocan station,

great guy and he rides all the time. There's also Colin and Ben who work at the tailing pond at the mine up there, they ride their sleds up the same hill to get to work that you have to go up to get to the mountains. They know the trail conditions every day but I don't have their contact info. Chad does so ask him.
X2 on the king eddie hotel, basically the only accomadations up there now.
