steering post

Run a solid piece of cold rolled steel down the inside of it well past the top steering column support. Of course now you'll bend your bars, but hey...they're alot easier to get at to straighten!

Yeah buy one from wildchild, I was in the same boat a month ago, I bought the post from Wildchild, really glad I did.

The post is curved around the airbox. Shove a piece of metal down the post hole it'll bend lower down the post.

Sure would be a excellent replacement.

On my xc I added a support. I drilled out the epozy and jb welded a stock of aluminum in the post. Not a wet noodle anymore.:D
