Steering post wall thickness??

I will be building a custom post for my sled and was curious what kinda thickness's a stock sled is running these days. Mine will be straight so I can run thinner material and be alright. also will have a brace right near the top. I just hate to cut mine apart to find out!!

Make sure to build it with materials thicker than arctic cat's paper thin wet noodle stock posts...

well, my dad rides an M.. so I will look at it and see what kinda parchment its made of!! I also have the rx1 posts that I took apart.. those are THICK!! stuff must be at least 3/16" wall.

yup not the strongest, but they get nice and beefy when you shove a piece of solid stock down the center of it
