steering boots on a rev

I was just wondering if i should rivit my steering boots back on or take them off the things i can think of are if i put them back on they will come off again if i take them off i might get snow in my clutches any other things to worry about if i leave them off?

u do a nun replacement? maybe not.. anyway yea i would definately put them back on to keep all that snow out...took me 3 minutes with the air riveter for me..oh yea and if u are having problems with it coming off make sure u put it back on with avex rivits, available at your dealer..you put them on with your regular rivit gun but they are much more structural

no they just filled up with water and froze and then ripped off

I used stainless bolts.

use rivits and gorilla glue, put glue on both sides of the rubber, against nun and the ring

If you screen over (pantyhose work good) the hood and nose vents then remove the foam from the nose, they shouldn't ice up any more.

thats a good idea of using panty hose for vent material. i have thought about putting screen over the vents but couldnt deside on a good way to attach it to the hood (dont really wany to glue it) but i still might
