so went riding today sled ran good all day just putting around mind you.
as we were coming back i had to tow a ski doo out and the snow conditions were less then ideal. so at about 80C or 175F i would shut her down and pack snow on the tunnel drink a beer then continue did this several times. then on the last one i shut her down. and for a solid 45min could not get her started again(unable to check for spark). clicked the kill switch on and off at least 25 times and wiggled the key. then she fired back up ran her back to the truck only go to 75C though. looked at my battery gauge shows 6 bars with full heat on.
now is this a sign of my stator going, i did do some searching but i found guys just have no spark at all? or could it be a capacitor?
what tools should i bring with me on my next ride and what should i check for i in case i get a no start situation again.
