c'mon nobody? I thought there used to be an option at the bottom of the screen you could check when posting a new thread if you wanted to include a poll. but now i don't see it hence i'm wondering if this option is now not available to basic members. any of you premium paid folks see the "poll" option when you start a new thread?

Yes, it is a paid member option.
