I picked up a pair of Indy Lites for my 12yo daughter and 9 yo son. My son's hood was demolished when we got it, so I decided a little father and son project was in order. What do ya think? Next project...longtrack.
Thats Awsome! My wife and I took our daughter for the first real ride friday, she has been before but got cold and didnt want to go, she was begging us to go friday and had a blast, 2 ft of fresh powder, climbing, side hilling the works it was great and she wants to go again.
My daughter has a '91 Indy 500 fan. She's 15 and is starting to ride harder. It now has a 440 liquid cooled engine and a 136" track on the Xtra 10 suspension. Works out great for her. I believe you can use any of the mid to late '90's rmk track & rear suspension to convert. They aren't the best but you can find a dead one fairly cheap. My wife rides a 97 XLT RMK and it has the exact same rear suspension.
