Curious. I just moved to Vantage washington I'm working on the wanapum dam project through the winter. How close am I to these areas you guys are riding? Stampede, etc?

from Vantage you are 35-40 miles from Clockum, Recer, and Manastash. Better riding in season imo. No snow yet though. Usually pretty good cover around mid Dec.

From vantage, its only going to be about 1 1/2 hours, to stampede, salmon Le sac, Hyak, Blewitt pass, there is lots of riding close to you. I don't know how to spell most of them but just sound them out.

vantage ,your at exit 136, stampede pass is about exit 63 on I-90.

I'm sure we'll run into you guys again. We are always looking for more shovels, I mean people to ride with...

I have to work on Friday but will have the camper loaded and am heading out right after work. Not sure where we are going yet.

riding at the to was not bad--the parking lot was a mess sure glad i spent the money on my permits i see they are putting it to good use (wsup with the rocks in the road) - I wonder if that phazer will out climb the dragon

I think the only hope I have of that is if somehow the Dragon runs out of gas! I can hope.
