The plowing was for the fire station, not home owners..
OH OK, bunch of bull.... just an ongoing fight with the homeowner at the intersection, he's been a pain ever since he moved in. I mean every year, this year he went to court to try to close the c.s. snopark.. REALLY RUFFY.you must be kidding us, RIGHT? the ulterior motive to building the fire station in that stoopid location was to be able to plow the road to the residence. There is already a fire station at Kachess and one at the top of the pass. let's get real.
What I stated was real. The agreement was that they could plow the road for the fire station. I believe the agreement was with state parks or the FS.
As to motives and the other stuff... sure sounds fine, but that isn't what is being discussed.
sorry for getting off subject and going facebook on here, nothing personal, It's just been a bad subject ever since they built that fire station. Now they're spray painting our snow to keep us out, after trying to close the snopark permanently, saying an environmental impact study needed to be done because of fuel and hazardous materials going into the water. yes, I was at the court hearing to hear this first hand. we are losing more and more area every day. I grew up in Easton and we used to ride all day without worrying about people complaining about snowmobiles or dirt bikes on the trails. not so anymore. If you buy a house on a golf course, expect golf balls on your lawn. If you buy a house next to pacific raceway, expect loud racecars. if you buy a house on a main snowmobile trail..... rant done. back to the real subject. It is now legal to park on the side of the forest service road to unload and ride your snowmobile.
gr8skidoo, where did you park? Is there room to park along the road? Were there others parked there? Are you talking about the gate to the snow park, and can a person ride from there along the road to the John Wayne and beyond? Great pics!!
