I went over to stampede pass saturday the sherif and s/r told me that one of the machine maybe r and r groming rolled thier machine down a hill??/ anyone see it or have pics?
I received an email about this today. It was R & R grooming. I understand Bob and his wife/dog were there when this happened. Something about the road giving out and the groomer went down about 300 feet into the gully. Groomer did not roll over I am told.
My understanding is that there was no injuries when this accident happened, but I have heard that later back at his cabin Bob had a medical condition and is now at a hospital in Tacoma.
Thoughts and Prayers go out to Bob and his family.
Oops, you have to register or some damm thing. Anythow, it says an avalancle swept the groomer several hundred feet down a slope southeast of stampeadpass. the operator was able to keep the machine upright. He was uninjured and transported to Crystal springs parking lot.
Anyone know where? I was with my daughter Saturday mid morning-late afternoon doing the basic loop for her first time out. I was amazed to see fresh grooming tracks, but with the warm weather, it was beat up very quicklly.
Would suck for there to be carnage, from what I've heard at this point the grooming is being done from the grooming owners own pocket, IE donation....Thanks to all the groomers statewide for helping out this year, We all appreciate it very much!!!
