I'm interested in the chromatic lenses too. I agree that they would have to change quick enough to work. Goggles are a tough industry in snowmobiling right now. 509 has done an awesome job of marketing to the sled guys but now Oakley, Klim, Habervision and even MotoFist have goggles not to mention all the ski/boarding companies. I like the affordable high quality goggles from Habervision, but they lack the cool factor that 509 delivers on. Looks like a good product though.
I grew up racing MX and BMX had sponsors like scott, Dragon, Oakley, Spy, and Smith. I have used Klims' and others and I have been less than impressed. These have impressed me and they love input and pur your ideas into play. The chromatic lense does not change quick enough for sledding but is nice on bright days. But it also isnt very dark when it switches so it like riding with the smoke lens. Which happens to be my favorite lens for almost all conditions.
