ST TSS or LT Fix Strut

recently sold my pro rmk to get into snowbiking. '10 crf450.


dealer has a LT on hand and can offer it to me same price as a ST with TSS. I ride in iowa 25% cooke city Wyoming Colorado etc the rest. ride with all sleds so id like to be able to keep up. any suggestions? looking to talk to dealer today. thanks!

Sounds like your dealer is willing to save you a hundred bucks if you go with the ST and TSS. I went with the short track kit mainly because I have heard that it handles better on the trail and hard pack than the LT, and we don't always have perfect riding conditions when we go out west. Plus, with the new track, the ST can probably get around just as good as older LT models.

I ride only in Colorado in the steep and deep and LOVE the new ST on my KX500. The LT just takes some of the playfulness away in my opinion, its an 11' long machine when its all together.

My buddy with the same bike has the new ST with the TSS and its pretty amazing how different it is. I feel like you can preload jumps and pop off of stuff much easier, much more like a dirt bike.

I have both a ST and a LT with TSS and I think the 16 LT with the tipped up rails and TSS feels every bit as nimble as My ST,,,, both have the new track,,, I'm thinking the LT will be My main STEED for the winter!

I went ahead and ordered a ST + TSS today! found a nice cheap '09 CRF450 from a buddy to slap it on.
