We had a wonderful 3 day weekend at Marble Mountain snow park. Lots of sun & the sleds all ran great! A big thanks to Nancy for keeping the trail into the mountain groomed! If anyone sees her up there chip in to help her out with the fuel. Cheers:beer;

Howz the base at marble for getting out to the high country? Hoping to get up there this or next weekend. Scratchers don't help much in the mud and gravel :face-icon-small-win

4/21/12

Still plenty of snow on rd.Just played in pine creek because ate belt first climb.By 4 it was getting really slushy. Beautiful blue skies.Was planing on riding around the mountain base but with only a new belt couldn't chance it.
Lots of people and climbers.
Better enjoy while you can the snow didn't like the heat today and blue skies.
No mud or gravel whatsoever.

marble

Went again today and saw trucks at cougar but went to marble to do the loop.We got got caught in a avalanche of all them tree huggers so we didn't cross over there little route going up.Plus it was hard holding a sidehill up high until about 4 pm
Guy had a tie strapped set of handlebars and we didn't want to chance him yanking them off crossing down low were you have to hold some serious sidehills to get over or out of the canyon over to the west side.We should of just crossed in between the huggers and went for it.But didn't want to start any crap so we just came down low then went back up high were we just came from and went back down pine creek back to the plains and out of there.Couldn't chance breaking his bars off and towing him out of were we were at..So didn't make the lop 2 days in a row.O'well what a great day again.

Yes you can still unload at cougar and plenty of snow at marble.Talked with some buddies was going to meet from tacoma and instead of waiting for me then went over to the west side and loved it.But they had some newbies so kinda glad I found these other 2 crazy characters
who like to ride like me.We tore some canyons up and went though some crazy rock climbs.Plenty of snow.Sorry was going to get a pic of rd but forgot with getting the piss beat out of me on way back.Rd is getting rough.The little groomer got stuck and now she's afraid to groom in the slush.

If anyone rides this weekend please let us know how things look. Curious to see how it is going to be for Memorial weekend with the kid! campout time.

With 78 inches at june lake it might be getting thin, I was up there 2 weeks ago and there was bar spots on the road. Berryfields might be better, I would love to ride again but I broke my wrist.

Anyone go up this past weekend? How did it look? Thinking about heading down there for this Memorial weekend and campout and ride.

Let me know how it is doing.
