Spuddering sled

Sled: 06 Summit 800 w/1400 miles.

This problem started last weekend and is getting worse. It doesn't happen everytime but sometimes when I'm stopped and get on the throttle the sled spudders and I have to feather it and then it takes off great. It also happens when i slow down and then get on it it does the same thing., have to feather the throttle then it takes off.

What's the problem?

Have you checked the reeds? may have one that is cracked or frayed on the ends.

Dads sled does that only when you romp on it good it boggs and almost dies unless you let off anf feather it. dealer told him he needs pistons and sure enough his sled only had 100 lbs. the rings are pry shot. ya might want to try to do a compression test
