Sprockets

Does anyone know where we can get metal idler sprockets for the timbersled. The plastic ones are piles of crap.

Ive stripped one and wont have a new in until next week so i machined it smooth to act like a standard chain roller for the weekend. We'll see how it works.

Not sure why it failed in the first place. Only 4 days on it and just adjusted it before riding.

how tight did you adjust your chain? I've wondered about the pastic, but so far its been just fine... I just adjust it like they say at like 5/8 of an inch of slack on the top...

I think your setting your chain too tight.
We have 15 timbersleds that get prepped out the shop. plus 6 more in group.
not one has stripped plastic teeth in 3 years.
5/8 of play, rotate track to see if there is tight spots, and error on the loose side.
Check before every ride!

Checking for proper allignment ,use a strait edge to check all three sprockets shim as needed
