Springtime Is Awesome!!

My son and I went on a ride in NE Nevada today after a series of quick moving fronts came through this week. It was one of our best snow days of the season with enough snow in some of the fun chutes to stop my sled anyway, good day for the turbohounds. I thought I'd share a few pictures of a fantastic morning with you. There looks to be a few weeks of riding left, thank god!!, things get awfully boring around here when the snow leaves.

While looking at the above photos I just had a epiphany as to why I think riding in the Ruby Mountains is second to none, you have to try real hard to hit a tree!!!

I could hit the tree growing out of the rock in the second photo. NO PROBLEM...

The Ruby's have been getting hit on and off all week long, should be another wonderful weekend. Looking at Ruby Dome out the window it looks as though the mountain got hit pretty good. I'd like to get a few more weekends out of the season. Some sunshine, some good pulls, a few good drinks at the bar and some tall tales sure make life worth living.
