The last month in Alaska has been great, long sunny days and lots of event on the weekend First off was Artic man, which we go to every year, around 10,000 sled heads get together to turn the remote hoo doo range into one of the biggest cities in Alaska for a week,

I did not take many other pics because of the kind of flat light light, next was to Valdez for the Valdez hillclimbs, nothing but cloud free sunshine,

After a deadly avalanche we decided to cut the weekend short and head north, the snow was unstable down low, but up high the snow on north facing aspects the snow was stable, we were just hitting the hills we watched the skiers come down and make cuts back and forth. So we headed north to the summit lake area, even after Artic Man there is plenty of untouched if you know were to go,

First tracks all year into untouched bowls,

Any ways it was a great year, the weather has gotton really warm here, 60 all week possible highs of 70, I may just call it a season.

The snow at Arctic Man was set up and truly deep fluff was hard to find. However, more fun on this planet would be hard to find.
10,000 wild and crazy guys, on sleds, fun, fun, fun. Only 11 more months to go until Arctic Man.

I know, I should go again it is just that it could hit 70 - 75 here today, the snow up at summit gets so rotton you just drop to the bottom of four feet of snow. Everyone around here is itching to break out the dirtbikes this weekend.
