Spring ride in mccall this weekend?

Me and a couple buddys are going out sat, and sunday, upper elevation parking lot. If your riding partners have put their sleds away for the season and your not ready to be done, give me a shout and we would love to have a little spring fling this weekend. Up high has been getting loaded with fresh, heck there might even be powder, you can still ride from the parking lot last I was told. still good snow up high!

yeah we rode.... the weather was crap... pulled the three chutes out of upper twin just below granite look out... and the one in black dog valley. nick and adam were goin pretty big off a kicker we built in twin... spent maybe 3 hrs on the hill and all our gear was soaked so we called it a day and headed to town for drinks. today it was raining way to hard for us to even consider riding.... should be snowing up high though.

as for the trail, we rode from the parking lot and there was only 3 or 4 10 foot sections of dirt, right when you got on the actual rode it was snow all the way, goose side and brundage sign, if this weather keeps up we have a couple more weeks for sure.

oh ya, if it added up like the forcast said there should be close to a foot of fresh with 2 more good dumps this week, pow ride this weekend. going tommorow ill take pics. if its good the spokane crew will have to come down again!

shane i cant go tommorow. M8 is getting new bulkhead and I dont want to ride m1000, just doesnt sound as much fun as whoosh woosh woosh when I let off the throttle

Why the new bulkhead? Must be a story behind that.

hahahaha it actually quite boring. The front heat exchanger is welded onto the bulkhead as you know. there seems to be a hairling fracture in the weld from factory, or just a defected weld. Anyways, ac warrantied it so hopefully she is back up by this weekend. Hows the Apex been running, used to the hard hitting power yet?

Getting more use to the Apex Turbo every ride. I wish I could have started out the season with it but like everything that is good it was worth the wait.

Still quite a bit of snow up higher. It was pretty set up , especially in the morning. Softened up a little as the day progressed. Go anywhere, climb anything. Typical spring riding - go up skate down. 5 rigs in the upper parking lot today was all.
