My brother went 2 nights ago in the foothills above Idaho Falls. I cant believe its end of march and my brother and his friends rode from the house and found a untracked cornice. I bet guys ride into begin of June this year. Its gonna be sick up high this may. Anyone been up in sheep creek or Jefferson lately???

Thanks EricW

you just opened the door for ??. If I can't doo it in the future I'll PM ya.;)
Thanks Bud...

June riding is the norm here, sure you have to drive 15km up the mountain to unload and then there is usually a few spots of dirt riding between snow. But guaranteed to hit ridable stuff for the rest of the day. With this crazy spring weather I'm thinking mid-July is looking promising. Talked to couple guys up the norns who regularly ride early July.

This was May long 2 years ago.

Global Warming?? BULL $HIT!!!!!!

I almost fell for the global warming lies a few years ago. I sure would feel stupid now if I was one of the sheep following the herd of lies. We will be riding year-round on MT Baker in a few years when our weather keeps getting cooler.

where?

Where are you riding out of? I see you're in the Yak area, so am i and we're still getting into great snow.
And yes, stay off of the southern facing slopes.
