SPRING FLING 2011 April 29th thru May 1st

Well I found A 16lb bird today...not as big as I wanted but it will do.

Not sure how many people are actually going to be around Sat at dinner time...but I will just cook off a enough for quite a few and fill the muff pots on the next day with any leftovers. ;)

Little Pre game before the weekend, Bearmanpig our friend Jeff and I testing out the conditions for the weekend.

You should recognize that spot. That tree below is the one you stood it up on a few weeks ago.

It's sticky out there. Just got back, nearly 50 degrees today and no clouds to be seen.

May 1, 2010 Spring Fling. In order

Beautiful morning near the house - Air Force Academy and Pikes Peak
Bighorn sheep on the drive up - blurry, but we were traveling at 75mph
Isaac in the meadow enjoying the snow
Isaac carving up the fresh
Bushy with the only fox in the parking lot

Hoping for some fresh snow....

I'm thinking of camping in the Muddy Pass lot next weekend (7th/8th). How's the snow right from the lot? Will there be enough to get out to some riding? I've ridden up there a lot but only in the winter. Any tips on where to go? I think we might bring our truck camper and enclosed for a couple nights.

What time is everyone gonna ride tomorrow? Ill probably be there around 9:30a or so.

Probably closer to 10:00

The fox is back for the fling.

I'm finally packed, sort of. Need to load up and head out bright and early.

Yes, I know where that tree is, lol.
