It's not ready. I don't care who says what, it isn't. I got lucky today. Tagged a stump, luckily the ski went on it and the carbide caught and the shock did it's job. Preceeded to get unstuck and rode another 10 miles, skinned countless trees and rocks and spun down to dirt on may occasions. Called it a day and won't go up there till they get a considerable dump. It's not ready.

Did a test/tune ride at GL 12/23--groomed trails were good, Whiskey Park had 3' but we tore it up pretty bad, Hatcher's had some rocks hidden--took out one A-arm, Gravel was good but ridden out and the shelf road area between upper/lower Gravel has big rocks hiding waiting to send you to the parts counter. One big slide, one small. Probably OK by now.

Needs lots more snow but we accomplished our mission.

I drove all over the place last few days... to those of you ripping it up, more power to you, but most places I went looked like sh** aside from part of molas pass.

Vail pass looks like September right now... unreal.

It's gonna be a fun season.... but I'm not driving 3 hours each time I want to ride.
Went to Jones on Friday, ran across a few buddies, they said it wasn't even worth getting out.

I'm sure it's fun out there... but I spent enough on a arms last year to last me a few years

Went to VP last Thursday after the storm. It was a joke how little snow there was. Vail must have triple counted their snowfalls. Even the groomed trail had bare spots.

I always get a chuckle out of those that ride first snow. Patience kiddies give it a couple weeks. In the mean time I am going up Friday. I know there are some good step up jumps ready to launch at Dumont. I'll ride the trees in a couple weeks when the base is ready. If you want to catch some air meet me up there and bring your big girl panties.

Yeah its bad..........

I can't imagine complaining after last season. Arm pit deep in some areas today in Northern CO. About as good as it gets. Yes, thin down low but worth it up high.

I hit up the ears and it was good if you want to ride something easy. Plenty of snow and then some. Buff has the highest snowpack in the state according to the snotel.

Well... I've got to go get some big girl panties from Target, pick up my sleds & figure out how to get them to the hill!!

I've talked to 2 people in the last week that said that the ears wasn't ready... but sounds like it'll be worth the trip.
