spray foam instead of cork

I run the 8" grips, no issues with the controls. the RSI bars may have a slightly longer OAL than factory ProTaper bars. On the throttle side, the throttle block butts right up against the grip end.

I'll post a pic later.

Love the RSI/ODI grips...

They wear faster... but for the "connection" they give me to the bars... 2 sets per year is worth it!!

Any of you using the ODI Ruffians on the stock pro tapers? Are they too long without some additional bar end other than the stock hook?

At 8" long, measure from the end of the bar to the brake cyl, and again to the throttle block.

No reason why you couldn't trim them a bit. You may have to in order to accommodate the grip without the controls getting into the bend.

Here's my set..

i put them on fly bars that i cut way down, just wide enuff for my hand. i see no reason why the wouldnt work on stock pro tapers

Pillowtop grips will need to be notched to clear the poo flipper.
Ruffians barely clear but i always run my grips all the way to the throttle block.

Carbon resin rsi hi power heaters.
Good for 20* below F.

After freezing a couple fingers last weekend riding at 3 degrees or lower I took the plunge and went to Ski-doo.....for their part # 506152360. Cork that already has adhesive applied. Cost like $7.00 total! Took my grips off using an air hose. Screwed up one heater element taking it off but was able to save one too so add another $28.00 to my total.

Very easy to put on the cork and to put on grips using air and a large fender washer over the end of the grip. Took an hour and that includes going to Polaris to get another element.

So if anyone is shying away from corking because they think it's hard, it's very easy. Hardest part is removing the old elements without damaging them.

X2 this only difference I did was instead of air I sprayed the inside of the grip with 77 and the outside of the heating element and put the grip back on before it got tacky the grips slide right on with 0 effort
