i have to go WAAAY against the grain here. NO hairspray. used it on dirt bike and atv grips without much issue. however, when used on a sled.....i had one of the all time funniest, almost disastrous events of my sledding career. when the grips got cold and wet, they became very slippery. they had been installed for a couple weeks. i was climbing a steep off camber.....first one grip slipped off on my uphill hand, spinning me around, then the other slipped off. i went flying off the sled landing in the snow with a grip in each hand. the sled ghost rode down a very steep rocky face and somehow came to rest in a drift without hitting anything. miracle. i still laugh/cringe when i think of it. it was the brand recommended on here...
