The standalone is just amazing. Turn the key and ride. The only thing you watch is the boost baby. At 15lbs she was rippin my arms off. I am so sore today. I think the sed is setup just right. Can't wait to go back up next weekend.:D:beer;

Congrats X on the adoption. Now that is awesome!

Any ideas on how to get this off the shaft? I'm I gonna just have to pound the bearing off with a hammer? I can't quiet slip it over the bearing and I'm gonna need it when I put my Stormy drivers/shaft back on my sled.

X put it in the freezer for a couple of hours and then take a cold chisel wide enough to go across the bearing and work your way around should do it.

Thanks Andy! Things are coming together. Working out the details takes time, but all worth it. As soon as everythings finalized I'll post more on the project. Thanks for the support!

See you on Sat. JOP :D

X, do what GF2 said. Debateable whether the freezing it helps any but beat it off. The bearing will be toast. To put a new bearing back on, freeze the shaft and heat the bearing in a low temp oven, it will slide right on.

p

Here are a few pic. from the weekend up on keeler (bear):beer;:D

Troy snowmobile clubs new warming hut, some high marking
and some kind of crap growing on a stump.:beer;:):D

X just barrow a bearing splitter and have it pressed off by
a local shop.
