Sick sled Holman. I would post pics of my new one but SOMEONE is lollygaggin around and it isn't quite ready yet. cough, cough, hardass, cough, cough, cough:p;)

Anyone use the RSI extended throttle cables?? Im trying to decide on that or just go with the powermadd throttle ext. again...

Get the RSI Jayson. The PowerMadd sucks.

If Gravity Worx was still around I would suggest theirs as it is top notch. The RSI is probably the same.

If you can find aftermarket cheapo's for an 03 and up Escape it is longer than your stocker, probably good for 6" or so. My stock cable is good for my 5" rise just barely. Had to extend the brake and some wires.

What ya gonna do with that? Aren't you young and single... Your forearms should be super-strong!!!

You're a funny guy...It's more like just loosin some Fat off of my A$$.

D-Tripp...I found the turbo setup along side of the road when I went and picked up the sled. It had a free sign sittin next to it so I bolted it up :D Na, this was throttlejunkies sled. I really don't know a whole heck of alot about turbos...but I got a feeling that I'll keep learnin about it just like I did the RT...hopefully this sled will at least run most of the time. I think that it will, unless Nitro managed to touch it at some point.

Jayson...I had one on my wedge, it seemed to work fine.

That's it, I've had enough for one day. All this talk about snow and boost and I'm here in Ak not able to work on my sleds or shop for trucks. Only ten mor days and I'll be doin both though. Does anyone have any experience with 37" Toyo MT tires?

Ok, plenty of 37's, how about mounted on 22" rims? I would have to think it would ride the same as my 35's on 20" rims. Add two more inches to tire and rim so it should keep the sime ride characteristics.....right?

Yes it is the Twisted Kit...sure is gonna be fun this season.

So are you finally gonna poke the pencil?

Hey Motley, you considered traveling and learning with the best? Rochester is a nice town;) Good luck on either choice for school, I'm sure you will kill it. And 340 on 92, good lord I wanna see that:eek:

37's

I have 07 mega cab with a 4" on 37's and 22's....I love them the rims are a little oval shaped :-) but still ride perfect its just hard to balance them after a few harder hits but they have worn great, i rotate them often and arent very noisy. By the looks of them I should get 45 or so thousand out of them, for a one ton thats not bad wear in my own opinion...I had them on my old chevrolet witha 6" and they rubbed but no rubbing with the four just have to have the right offset on the wheel...here are some ok pics

Well hell, if they ride good on a Dodge, a Chevy should be smoot as silk ;) Thanks for the input. I can get a killer deal on a set of tires right now and don't have any rims yet, so it really doesn't matter 20's or 22's at this point. I got 60K out of my last set of 35's and the 37's should be just as good since the front of a Chevy isn't as heavy as a Dodge.

Your tellin me, I woulda bought a new chevy if this hadnt been a repo and a killer deal fully loaded with the 5.9 The ride isnt too shabby though, its night and day between my dads 09 6.7 Cummins that rides like a pile....the mega is pretty slick though:-) its a great place to sleep off a good hangover!

If I do Pharm school I am lookin at a private school in Henderson Nevada, it's 3 years instead of 4. For Medical school I would definately like to stay north, maybe Utah or UW. I wouldn't be picky on medical school though. You know what they say, "it doesn't matter if you finish last in your class at the worst medical school, they still call you a doctor".

So are you finally gonna poke the pencil?

truck..

So that was your truck on CL....why were you selling that beast for 14k???

Yah that was mine...I had 182,000 on it when i sold it, what i did was actually purchase the new truck on the basis that I could sell the old one within a week and i stole the tires and wheels off it...it was super clean and the guy got a smokin deal on it but i had to push it hard to sell it otherwise i had to show up back at dishman and give the new truck back haha...potlach has been so easy to work with i just needed to dump it, it booked for 19 with those miles, the farmer i sold it to got a good deal but at the same time i got way more than i owed and people are super scared of the miles so i was happy and so was he...

on another note....does anybody have some seat time with a carbon fiber hood from evans or ftx? i was wondering how the fit and finish is out of the box and how it takes to the all to accasional spills....

Well ya got a point Motley, ya got a point. Pharmacy is a good gig, big bucks to push little pills around;) Course there's always a need for a motor sports friendly Ortho doc.
