Oh I am....when I can. Seriously thinking about switching into something a little less time consuming and less abstract...civil engineering is sounding pretty good right now. More money, better employment, etcetcetcetce

college is the easiest time of your life, enjoy it. Life will never be so free and careless as it is now for you.

tim

well besides the ages of 2-6. But you aren't able to have as much fun or the same type as you are at Sombos age!

Well I got the frame for the deck up and in. Should be good to go, a few more posts, joist hangers and then decking and building a stair.

Now it's time to shower and get down to my little man and wife.

15 degrees and snowing here. Just talked to Stanger on the phone and he's on his way up the hill to ride.....bastards.

If your looking to stay in the Northwest I would go Civil.

My Bro-inlaw is an Eletrical and he's presently unemployed.

Other friend is a Mechanical and he's working on contract.....may not get re-newed.

City County & State are always looking for Civils tho.....not as good $$ but it's steady work.....

As a civil engineer I can't complain about being employed as I have never been without a job and in the past had endless opportunities. In the current economy finding a civil engineering job could be a little difficult especially for a new grad. If I did it all over again I would think really hard about going into the medical or dental field. Becoming a doctor would be a lot of work but the demand is there and so are the dollars. Something to think about.

As for college sleep little drink lots and have fun.

If anything Spicey, you sure are a positive mofo!:D

Ausum, We're thinking of doing a trip next year and meetign in the middle, your neck of the woods! What town or area would be best to base out of, camping and/or Rving it?

Damn damn damn! You have no idea what I have to put up with. Take the weight that EW and Motley have lost, combine that with the midget wookie we all know as Sawyer and then give it breasts. That's what I get to look at for "babes" for two weeks at a time.

got the goods em. holy crap I have been swamped at work. the mission mountains are flat white right now and it is supposed to be snowing like a mofo up in the MT. I will be going back to finish the pour on sunday night so.....fresh lookout report coming soon.

ew, I was up in your neck last weekend, did a side trip through the sherman creek stuff, got stuck in the snow and saw a few long ears. made it to oroville shoot chukar and the wind was rippin so hard the birds would not hardly budge.......good times. burr!

Worse. I have a sled in MT and a bottom end in WA.

sam, we are making a last run over to polson on sunday night, if you want I can bring it that far for you. maybe you can con jeff into meeting you in missoula. if you want me to do that call me, it will be futile to pm me on here as me and my computer are distant friends these day.

Alright One!! My 2 cents. If you are going into architecture, do me and all of the other contractors out there a favor and get a decent background in civil and structural so you at least know how it will "REALLY" be put together in the end.

As stated earlier, enjoy it while you can, otherwise you'll be working for a general contractor trying to figure out how to build some crazy thing that an architect dreamed up:).

If you want to ride tight technical single track I would recommend camping on the North Fork of the Clearwater. Not only is the North Fork the most beautiful river in the world (IMO) but it also has the best single track I have ever rode. From Pierce its about 40 minutes (32 miles) to the river and there are a lot of camping spots. Theres more trails down there then you could ride in a week. If you want more info let me know and I can give you the skinny on everything.
