I've been working on the back of my garage in order to store my boat in the garage instead of in the shop. My third bay will now be 36' deep. I can keep the boat and sleds in that bay now If it's not one thing, it's another

Congrats on the newest edition X!
Just hanging out in Fairbanks taking advantage of the free training thru the union. We will be here until the 13th, then head down to Valdez, then over to the Kenai, just to check things out and decide where to buy property.
I just dropped the Oroville thing until I come back down. I'm sure it was just related to Obama wanting to know what kind of panties I wear, LOL.
Still checking out the work situation up here. Looks like it gets busy up here in November. Not sure when we will come home. Skadi said she will bring our sleds up to us

I spent 28 yrs their, property / cabin out side of Homer, i built all the Helicoptor refueling stactions on the pipeline, homesteaded in EagleRiver, was born in Anchorage, ya alot of neat stuff. If you need any thing let me know, i have alot of friends still up their from High school. Look out for Wasila, that turned into a yuppy place, it used to be 1 gas staction a runway, and a burger joint.

Rolled up the mountain this morning to winch out a stuck buddy deep in the trail systems, was pretty fun. Still almost 2' and not even that high....pics to follow lol. If I ever have time.

was in austin texas this past weekend. went to the austin city limits music festival...130 bands over 3 days...pearl jam, dave mathews, kings of leon, ghostland observatory...and 126 others...had a great time...
friday sunny and 85 degrees
satuday 72 degress and rain
sunday 80 and some sun and clouds
so the first picture is on friday, they spetn 100's of thousand dollars in this park to plant grass...it was beautiful.
then it rained on saturday..and rain mixed with 80,000 people makes grass turn to mud
ah good times!!!

Had his nose about 6 foot below the road pointed straight up.
Found a nice playground nearby...
And we're out.
Thumbs up for comalongs. Snapped the spool on the first one though, had to go back and get a replacement. It beat class anyway.

You had a sled and didn't even take it off the truck for a road rip? It would be sweet if that didn't melt and kept on putting it down for the next week or two.
